A Summer Drift by the Coastal Hakka

We designed two beverage packages for Xinwu Stone Weir Story House (新屋石滬故事館): Summer Sea Salt Lemonade and Vitex Milk Tea.
Summer Sea Salt Lemonade was specially developed for stone weir craftsmen. Refreshing lemon paired with sea salt helps replenish the body’s lost fluids while working under the summer sun.
Vitex Milk Tea is flavored with vitex flowers, a coastal plant. When opened, it releases a subtle floral aroma reminiscent of the seaside.
The design concept draws inspiration from the stone weir construction method known as “Six-Ring Masonry” (六圍砌), arranging local elements in layered formations. Combined with shimmering, wave-like textures, the packaging evokes the feeling of standing by the sea in summer—feeling the ocean breeze and listening to the rhythm of the waves alongside the stone weirs.
